After completing her BPharm degree in 1990, Hasina gained experience in the healthcare sector in institutional pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry, home-based care and managed healthcare (Discovery).
The legal challenges that faced the pharmaceutical and medical scheme’s industries during her tenure, ignited in Hasina an interest in the law. After completed a certificate course in Medicine and Law through UNISA, she pursued her studies in law and completed her LLB in 2011.
Whilst with Discovery, Hasina had the opportunity to complete an Executive Leadership Programme at the Said Business School, Oxford University.
In 2015, joined the Johannesburg Bar as a pupil and having passed the Bar exam, is now a full member of the Johannesburg Bar and an admitted Advocate of the High Court.
Hasina has a rare combination of skills and experience that puts her in a unique position with regards medico-legal matters and medical negligence matters.
